If you are using Pantheon's pantheon_advanced_page_cache module please follow their recommendations about custom cache tags. By default, pantheon_advanced_page_cache will rename the node_list tag that is usually used to invalidate the cache of your views when new content arrives. Please follow Pantheon's setup recommendations to understand how to work with custom cache tags instead.
